Nail Art Fashion Week 2015: Favorite Fashion Designer

Hi everyone! If you follow me on IG you've probably seen this design by now, but I wanted to share a little bit more about it and about the challenge I joined!

Four amazing and talented ladies created a Fashion inspired nail art challenge: Maria @so_nailicious (Australia), Faustine @faustgil (Paris), Bella @seizethenail (Stockholm) and Victoria @manicurator (New York). The Nail Art Fashion Week consists on a daily theme for a week (March 9-15) and you can join using hastag #NAFW2015. You don't have to do all the prompts, but I heard there are some prizes involved ;). 

Now for today's theme, favorite fashion designer, I chose Marc Jacobs! I really like his style, so fun, unique, often colorful! I got inspired by a dress from the Fall 2012 runway. I wanted to use a recent design but this one caught my eye the moment I saw it! 

The base of this manicure is Up all night by China Glaze. Then I water-spotted with Cadillac Red by Color Club doing multiple layers. For the middle and ring I did a black thick line and placed studs from Born Pretty Store. I applied my regular top coat, but it was so glossy I had to add matte top coat (also from BPS) for better pictures.

I really, really loved the outcome! I might actually film a tutorial for these <3. But for now I gotta get my nails ready for tomorrow. The theme is 'Shoes'. Thank you for your visit!
