12 Days of Christmas: Day 5, Faustine [@faustgil]

Hello Hello! Its FriYAY! And it's also the Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas and I'm very excited to have Faustine on the blog! I drool over her pictures on Instagram and I love her blog! Also, her outfit posts are to die for <3 Let's see what she created!

Hola hola! Ya es Viernes (beviernes! jaja) Y también es el Dia 5 de las colaboraciones de 12 Days of Christmas y estoy muy emocionada de tener a Faustine por aquí! Babeo con sus fotos de Instagram y me encanta su blog! También, sus posts de outfits y sus medias son increíbles <3 Veamos lo que Faustine ha creado para el blog! Alors voilà, je me présente, Faustine, 28 ans et blogueuse française qui officie sur le blog La NPA Mouton !

So let me introduce myself: My name is Faustine, currently 28 & the French Blogger in charge of www.lanpamouton.com!

Je suis très très fière de participer à la série de Guest Posts que Pamela organise sur son blog, surtout que c'est une blogueuse que j'apprécie beaucoup, et sur qui j'avais complètement craqué lors de la dernière Blog Fest Picture Polish (son Nail Art était mon préféré de tous !).

I am so honored that Pamela offered me to take part of the series of Guests Posts on her blog, especially since I love all her work, and yes, when I say that I have a thought for her Picture Polish 2014 BlogFest mani, which was my very favorite !

Le thème de ces articles croisés : l'hiver, qui est la saison favorite de Pamela. Allez, venez toutes au coin du feu, on va commencer !

The theme for those crossed posts: Winter, aka Pamela's favorite season. So come on, gather around the fireside, let's get started!

J'avais dans mon dossier de Nail Art à récréer une manucure de l'Instagrameuse @alondralovespolish qui était juste parfaite pour l'occasion, alors j'ai enfourché mes éponges, mes pinceaux et mes vernis, et je me suis lancée !

I found the perfect Nailart for the occasion in my "Manis I need to Recreate" folder: a mani by Insta Nailart Lover @alondralovespolish. I just had to get my sponges, my brushes and some nail polishes, and dive in!

Pour réaliser cette petite manucure très choupie, j'ai commencé par réaliser un dégradé avec Like...Totally Valley Girl de NCLA, la référence 05 de la collection Macaron de Frenz Nails et le très beau 265 de chez Kiko. J'ai ensuite fait la neige avec une brosse à dents (on humidifie la brosse avec du dissolvant, on met un peu de vernis blanc et on "gratte" pour créer un sorte de splatter nails un peu moins violent que celui réalisé à la paille). Enfin, j'ai pris mon pinceau et j'ai dessiné les sapins. Et voilà le travail !

In order to make that cute little mani, I started by creating a gradient with NCLA Like... Totally Valley Girl, Frenz Nails Macaron 05 and the stunning 265 from Kiko. I then went ahead and used a toothbrush dipped in Nail Polish Remover, applied some white nail polish on it and just "scrubed" in order to draw the hazy snowflakes falling in - splatter nails style -  just a little softer than if I would have made it by following the straw method. I ended things by drawing the trees with a brush. There you go!

Franchement, moi j'ai pas réellement de mérite car j'ai juste reproduit au maximum la réalisation d'Alondra, mais je suis complètement amoureuse du résultat, j'ai envie d'enfiler mon manteau, mon écharpe et de gambader entre les sapins, sur mes ongles !

I can't really bribe about this since the only thing I did was recreating Alondra mani to my best, but I am madly in love with the outcome, I just wanna put my coat and my scarf on, and jump around trees, on my very nails!
