Hola hola y feliz Domingo! Hoy, les tengo una invitada muy especial. Conocí a Mari (@nailistayco) hace muuuucho tiempo, por su blog. Estaba buscando bloggers mexicanas y cuando la encontré me puse muy feliz! Nuestra amistad ha ido mucho más allá de las uñas, Mari es una de mis amigas mas cercanas en la vida real. Así que, naturalmente, ella tenía que estar aquí! Veamos ahora lo que hizo para the nail sensation!
¡Hola a todas! Yo soy Marii, mexicana igual que Pam y fue por eso que nos encontramos a través de nuestros blogs hace dos años ya, y afortunadamente hemos hecho una bonita amistad.
Me alegra mucho que Pam me haya invitado a su serie de 12 Días de Navidad porque se que es su época favorita del año y además es siempre un honor ser invitada a hacer un guest post :)
Estaba bastante indecisa sobre qué hacer para esta ocasión, pero finalmente me decidí por algo sencillo pero lindo. Me encanta dibujarme tiernas criaturitas en las uñas y opté por un reno inspirado en el famoso Rodolfo con su nariz roja.

I'm very happy that Pam invited me to her 12 Days of Christmas series because I know its her favorite time of year and it's always an honor to be invited to do a guest post :)
I was having a bit of trouble deciding what to do, but I finally decided to do something simple but cute. I always love painting cute little creatures on my nails, so I went for the lovely Rudolph reindeer.
En mi dedo índice y meñique aplique de base dos capas de Funny Bunny de OPI, que es un blanco traslúcido. Me gusta mucho el efecto que da porque no queda tan fuerte como un blanco cremoso.
En mi meñique dibuje algunas líneas de distinto grosor como las de los bastoncitos de caramelo tan típicos de estas épocas. Utilicé un pincel delgado y un esmalte rojo texturizado bellísimo de la línea Vogue Fantastic Efecto Arena de nombre Sexy.
Como ven, no me quedaron perfectas jeje, si prefieren pueden ayudarse de cintilla para que las líneas queden más limpias.
I started with two coats of Funny Bunny by OPI on my index and pinky fingers. I decorated my pinky with some candy cane-inspired lines. I painted them free-hand but you can also use striping tape to make cleaner lines than mine :D
En mi dedo índice me ayude de unos viniles para uñas en forma de mini chevrons que rellene con el mismo rojo y un glitter dorado llamado PSL de Painted Polish by Lexi.
On my index finger I used mini chevron nail vinyls and the polishes Sexy by Vogue Fantastic, which is a textured red with gold shimmer, and PSL by Painted Polish by Lexi, an awesome gold glitter.
El renito lo hice igual con un pincel y esmalte café y beige. El color base es Samoan Sand de OPI. Lo primero es delinear la forma de la cabeza y rellenarla con algún esmalte café. Yo usé Café Toast de Colorama. Luego la cornamenta. Despues usé el beige (Café con Leche de Rainbow Honey) para colorear la zona de lo que sería su nariz y boca, y por último los ojitos que hice con un puntero (al igual que la nariz).
I painted the little reindeer with a thin brush. The base color on that nail is Samoan Sand by OPI. The first step is to outline the shape of the head and fill it in with brown polish (I used Café Toast by Colorama). Then I painted the antlers. After that I used Café con Leche by Rainbow Honey to color the area of the nose and the mouth. And finally I made the eyes and the nose with a dotting tool.
