12 Days of Christmas: Day 10, [@clairestelle8]

Hello everyone! I'm Claire (@clairestelle8 on Instagram) and I was thrilled when the lovely, and very talented, Pamela asked me to be part of her 12 days of Christmas blog series! I've admired her work for such a long time and I feel so honoured to guest here today!

So, for this mani I wanted to create a magical woodland scene and two of the gorgeous polishes from the Christmas China Glaze collection Cheers collection Don't Get Elfed Up and Better Not Pout were perfect for the gradient. I then added some stamping using Barry M Gold Foil ( sadly now discontinued) and Moyou London Festive 08 plate.

My five year old niece loves my nail creations so I thought I'd ask her opinion but sadly she didn't approve! Apparently Rhubarb the Reindeer should have a red nose... I said "Don't you mean Rudolph the Reindeer?" "Oh no!" she said, "He's called Rhubarb because that's the colour of his nose!" Well I couldn't argue with that logic!! I will always have to call him Rhubarb the Red Nosed Reindeer now!!

Hope you like these more than my niece!

Thanks again for asking me to guest today Pamela! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 9, Deborah [@lovevarnish]

Hi everyone! My name is Deborah and I am the main blogger from Love Varnish (www.lovevarnish.com). Last year I already participated in the superfun 12 Days of Christmas guest post series here and I was thrilled Pamela asked me to be a part of it again this year!

Last year I went with a luxurious looking drybrush look, but this year I wanted something completely different. Inspired by these gorgeous nails from Manicured & Marvelous (http://www.manicuredandmarvelous.com/2015/12/12-days-of-christmas-snow-day-nail-art.html) I decided on a pond manicure with snowflakes.

I started my look by using 2 coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu! (because my nails are really yellow right now) and then stamped using Hit The Bottle Blue-tiful and Bundle Monster BM-S213. It's a very large single snowflake design that covered my entire nail. Also, did you know Bundle Monster now has liquid latex as well? It's the Poli-Peel Cuticle Protector and it worked really well! After my first round of stamping I added another layer of the OPI shade, then stamped again using China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans and Bundle Monster BM-S218. This is a smaller snowflake design. Peel away the cuticle protector and you are left with very little clean-up, yay ^^. I didn't use topcoat because I liked the semi-matte finish.

I'd love to try this again but add more layers of stamping and sheer polish to create more depth, however I was already smitten with how these came out! And hey, a white Christmas is a beautiful Christmas, am I right?

Thanks so much for asking me again Pamela, and merry Christmas to you and all the lovely readers out there!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 8, Kathy [@kt_tk1]

12 Days of Christmas: Day 7, Mely [@rockyournails]

Hello Everyone!

My name is Mely and I am from IG @RockYourNails . I am so excited and honored to be guest blogging here on Pamela’s blog! Thank you for inviting me over!! For this post, I decided to create a super festive Christmas design, and I went with the theme of Rudolph. I hope you enjoy!

I started by painting on my base polishes. For my Index and pinky, I used China Glaze Just Be-Claws. For my middle finger, I used Sinful Colors Last Chance (a dark green cream) and then topped it with Sinful Colors San Francisco (a green jelly with metallic glitter) to get the green metallic look. For my ring finger, I used one coat of Madam Glam Snow White.

After all of my base colors were dry, I used a small detail brush and drew the reindeer outline using China Glaze Mingle With Kringle (a very warm gold metallic polish). This polish worked out great, because of how opaque it is. I did not have any trouble getting it to cover the red or the green bases.

Lastly for the nose, I used a dotting tool and two different red polishes. I first dotted on Bonita Colors Dolled Up (a red cream), then topped it with Painted Polish Ho Ho Ho-lo ( a red jelly with hologrqaphic micro glitters. I used the red cream polish first so that the red would be opaque.

Lastly, I applied Butter London’s Matte top coat.

…I also did a photo with glossy top coat… in which you can really see the colors shining through J.

Thank you everyone for visiting! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday!

<3 Mely

12 Days of Christmas: Day 6, Shay [@shaystylista]

Hi there! First and foremost, thank you Pamela for inviting me to participate in this special holiday post! When I was thinking of ideas, I wanted to do something that was synonymous with my nail art journey. My nail art adventures started with me googling how-to videos on Hello Kitty nails. I practiced Hello Kitty faces on notebooks, napkins, almost everything because I wanted to get her nose and eye proportions right. :D

Eventually it became second nature and my doodles were now identifiable as that cute kitty with no mouth lol. Around this time last year, I started my YouTube channel and Hello Kitty design was my first upload so to commemorate my one year anniversary, I decided to recreate that design for this post.

I used China Glaze Diva Bride as the base and acrylic paint for the designs. I didn't get a chance to film a video for this one, but I hope you like it nonetheless!

Oh and Hello Kitty will always be a cat to me! Merry Kitty-Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 5, Kimberlyn [@nailmachine]

Hello everyone! This is Kimberlyn, also known as @nailmachine on Instagram. I started getting into nails when I was 13 and I remember having my first nail art collaboration with Pamela and Sabrina. They are such lovely people and I really enjoyed my collaboration with them! It is really nice to be asked to do a guest post for Pamela. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

It is my first time doing a guest post so I will just write a little more about myself. I am 18 this year and I am currently in my second year, studying Business Studies in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I usually get my polishes when I am overseas or online because Singapore doesn't have many options and are quite expensive too. Some of my favorite brands includes, PiCture POlish, Lioele, Pastel and Ciate. I prefer brushes that are wide and flat because it makes application much easier (for me). I also love having pink, blue and purple on my nails because I feel that it matches my skin tone best. My favorite nail art technique will be gradient because it is super easy to do and with the awesome liquid palisade, it is not a hassle anymore!

Anyhow, this is the design that I have created:

Christmas is a joyful occasion for many and I really wanted to have a design that is colorful and sweet at the same time.
Therefore, I decided to mix a few pastel colors together. I expected the design to turn out brighter but I think its still looks pretty!
I also added snow using white acrylic paint.

Once again, thank you so much for asking me to do a guest post, Pamela!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 4, Martha [@teddynails]

¡Hola Chicas!

¡Me encanta!

¡Gracias!

¡Les dejo un besote!
Martha.

12 Days of Christmas: Day 2, Kay [@twentysixnails]

Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas series! The guest today is my dear friend Kay! [@twentysixnails on IG] <3 I'm loving her plaid! Thank you so so much my friend <3 let's take a look at her post!

Happy Holidays everyone!

Today I have a simple nail art for this year's Christmas for you. This is very easy to do. As long as you have red polish, some acrylic paint and a glitter polish, you're set for this nail art ;)

For my first Christmas nail art this year, I have decided to keep most of my nails simple, and feature an accent finger.

My ring finger features my all-time favourite, OPI All Sparkly and Gold. It is almost a one coater, but I usually do 2 coats just to ensure there are no bald spots. The main red I used in my index and pinky is China Glaze Just Be-Claws mini version which a friend got for me from the US! It is a beautiful metallic red which is so beautiful but not too loud because the shine is very subtle.

The rest of the nail art was done using acrylic paint.

On my middle finger, I painted a funny-looking Santa Claus. Actually its face is beige, but my camera is unable to capture the difference between my beige and the white so... this may look like a weird creature to you. I don't blame you!

For the index and pinky, I focused on drawing simple lines across for more definition. I added small sparkles for extra embellishment.

Hope you guys like the nail art and thank you Pamela for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to write on your blog again this year! xo

12 Days of Christmas: Day 1, [@laublm]

Hello everyone! You might remember from last year's guest posts, but let me tell you a little bit about it. I love Christmas and Winter, it's my favorite time of the year! So for the first 12 days of December I wanted to get festive again, and there will be daily themed guest posts from amazing bloggers/IGers <3 Today it's the first day of the '12 Days of Christmas' guest posts and to begin with these fantastic series we have Lau (@laublm on IG). Laura is a beautiful person in and out and I couldn't be happier to have her as a guest blogger <3. Her blog post is in spanish, but you can always use the translate button located on the right side of the screen. <3.

Laura.

12 Days of Christmas: Day 12, Niss+Kari+Dani

Hello everyone! I must warn you, this is a long post! For the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas, 3 mexican IGers who I have the pleasure to know IRL have created a nail design for the blog!
First up we have Niss from @nailsbibi!

-----------------------------------------------

Hola a tod@s !!

Besos!!!

-------------------------------------

So pretty! Thank you so much Niss!! Now, the 2 one, Kari from @canvaskin!

Que bonito!! Muchisimas gracias Niss!! Ahora, la segunda, Kari de @canvaskin!

------------------------------------------------------------

Hola chicas!

Hi girls! I´m Karina from canvaskin, I know Pam for about a year, we met through Mari from Nailistayco, and we've been friends since, they are both lovely, kind and talented.  Thank you so much for invited me to collaborate in these 12 days of Christmas! This is one of my favorites times of the year, It's so festive, bright and full with traditions wich I tried to incorporate in this mani.

I used Sally girl Sugar Cookie in the ring finger, then on the other 2 coats of essie Bordeaux and an other Sally girl glitter (sorry girls, unfortunately, it doesn't have a name) finally I stamped with essie As gold as it gets and Pueen number 42 plate.

Hope you liked it,  and Merry Christmas!

-------------------------------------------------

Love it! I love the combo and I need that Pueen! Thanks so much Kari!
For the last one, my first nail-friend ever, my dear Dani from @demolitiondiamond!

Me encanta! Amo la combinación y necesito esa Pueen! Muchas gracias Kari!
La última, my primera amiga uñística, mi querida Dani de @demolitiondiamond!

------------------------------

For @pamelapomelo's 12 Days of Christmas I recreated and old mani of mine with a little twist. I went for Christmas lights and mistletoes on top of a mattified shimmer base.

For this mani I used:
• Base: Real Simple (Essie, 1 thin coat) and White Cap (China Glaze, 1 thin coat) plus matte topcoat.
• Mistletoe: a mix of greens and yellows, being Mojito Madness (Essie) and Exotic Encounters (China Glaze) the main colors. The red one is With Love (China Glaze)
• Christmas lights: Ruby Pumps, Running In Circles and Blue Iguana (China Glaze)
• Black and white stripers.
The Christmas lights are pretty easy to do. Just place a dot nearby the guide line and then, with a thin brush, or even a toothpick, draw a little like right in the middle to shape it.
I didn't add top coat at the end because it'd have ruined the base.

I wanna thank Pam for asking me to guest post on her blog, it's such an honor! ❤️ As some of you might have noticed, I went on a hiatus for about 2 months and I can't think of a better way to come back than this. I love you, pea.

• Luces navideñas: Ruby Pumps, Running In Circles y Blue Iguana (China Glaze)
• Stripers negro y blanco.

------------------------

Thank you so much Dani! Its a wonderful design! I love you too!
I wanna thank all the nail artists involved in the 12 Days of Christmas series. I was looking forward to see this little project happening and I couldnt be happier! I love each and everyone of you! And you, the readers, too!
With love,

Muchas gracias Dani!!

~Pam

12 Days of Christmas: Day 11, Judy [@judyrox]

It's day 11 and I can't believe we are almost over! Today, Judy (@judyrox on IG) is the guest and what she created is amazing! I've admired her style for a long time, so I'm so glad to have her here!

Hi everyone!!

I'm Judit from Judyrox (instagram.com/judyrox) and I'll be doing the guest post here today! :) I can't be more happy!!!

First, I want to thank Pam for asking me to do this!! Thank you gorgeous!! It has been an honour for me to do this design for your 12 Days of Christmas Series.

I hope you all like my Christmas-y nails!!

I used 2 coats of Essie Cocktails & Coconuts for the base. Essie describes it as subtle, shimmering warm sand...it's the subtle gole shimmer what makes this polish a must have. I love nudes and trust me, this one is gorgeous!

The red in my accent nail is IsaDora Gel Nail Lacquer 225 True Love. A very vibrant and beautiful shade!

If you know me, you'll probably already know  that I love doing designs that involve lines, dots and tribals. That's what I enjoy the most so I decided to do a Christmasy design adjusting it to my style.

I used acrylic paint for the details, a very thin brush for the lines and a dotting tool.

If you all liked my design, feel free to visit my account and say hello!  :)

Best wishes!
Xoxo

How beautiful is that! Judy definitely incorporated her style to her Christmas design <3 Thank you so much Judy! And thanks everyone, tomorrow is the last of the 12 Days of Christmas, make sure to check it out! Lots of love,

Besos y abrazos,

~Pam

12 Days of Christmas: Day 10, Deborah [@lovevarnish]

Hello my dearest! Today is the 10th day of the 12 Days of Christmas series and Deborah from www.lovevarnish.com is the guest for the day! I've been reading her blog for a long time now, two years, maybe? And then I followed her on IG (@lovevarnish) and she is so nice and sweet! I'm very happy to have her here today so let's see her manicure!

Hi loves! My name is Deborah, and I am one of the bloggers from Love. Varnish, chocolate and more... It's such an honor to have been asked by Pamela to do a guestpost for her, since she's one of my favorite bloggers ^^.  I'll admit I had a bit of a hard time coming up with a look for this post because the others already did such fabulous work, but I think I did good.

Because these guestposts are part of a 12 days of Christmas series, I decided to use a beautiful red shade to start with. It's Cirque Colors The Devil Wears Cirque, the perfect red creme that glides on effortlessly in 2 coats. After it dried I grabbed both OPI L.A.M.B. from the Gwen Stefani collection, and Cirque Colors Memento Mori, a very opaque black creme. This look will stand out perfectly against a black party dress!

For this particular look you'll want your base to be absolutely dry. Otherwise you'll dent it and the results aren't as pretty. Now, take the accent color you want to use (I started with the OPI) and wipe the brush as clean as possible. Don't worry, there will still be polish clinging on to it! Use the "dry" brush and brush it over the red base in short strokes. It'll give a distressed look because the brush will skip a bit on the surface! Now, take your second accent color and repeat the process. After I did a round with black, I used the gold again to put on some extra sparkle. Use topcoat to seal in your design and you are done!

Well, hopefully you enjoyed this look, if you want to see more designs please feel free to visit my blog or follow on Instagram!

This is so perfect for Christmas Eve! Abstract nail designs are always my favorite <3 Thank you so much Deb! And thank you all as always! Only 2 more posts of the 12 Days of Christmas series, I hope you enjoy them! Love,

~Pam

12 Days of Christmas: Day 9, Anutka [@wackylaki]

Hello everyone! The guest of the day is Anutka! I've been following Anutka's blog for a loooong time ago, pretty much since I started doing nail art. I've always admired her and her blog & nail art which is why I am so honored to have her here today! Let's see what she created! I bet is amazing!

Hola hola!

Hi Everyone! My name is Anutka from the blog Wacky Laki. I'm so excited to be guest posting today on this beautiful blog. I have been following Pamela on Instagram for quite a while and really admire her style so I was honored when she asked me to participate in this 12 Days of Christmas guest post event.

I wanted to create something playful which got me thinking about the white winters of my childhood, the snowball fights and of course that meant mittens to keep my hands warm. You know, the kind attached together with an elastic band and threaded through the sleeves. The kind that parents tried to make sure were impossible to loose, but we still somehow managed. Those very mittens are hanging out on my finger tips today...

For the bells and mittens, I created decals (aka. reverse stamping) by stamping the pattern from Bundle Monster plate BM-H03 using Maybelline Bold Gold. I colored them in using red acrylic paint. When the decals where dry and ready to use, I applied them over the very sparkly and ultra holo glitter filled base of Glam Polish Polar Lights...
I really like this pattern of bells and mittens. Plus, somehow from a distance they look like cookies to me...

I would like to say a big thank you again to Pamela for hosting me here today. I had a lot of fun creating this manicure and I hope you enjoyed it! I would love to know what you think of it!

Thanks for looking!

Anutka :)

That's amazing! Look at those tiny little mittens! And the color combo, I love it!!!<3 Thank you so much Anutka!!! And thank you for your visit! We're getting closer to the end but I hope you're enjoying it just as much as I am! Lots of love,

Qué increíble! Vean esos guantecitos chiquitos! Y la combinación del color, me encanta!! <3 Muchas gracias, Anutka! Besos y abrazos,

~Pam
