No. But I did a mani so I could have mermaid nails! lol. This is a quick post, I wanted to show you this design, tell me what do you think :D!

Soy una sirena!

No. Pero hice un mani para tener manos de sirena! jaja. Este es un post rapidito, solo para mostrarles este diseño, diganme que opinan!! :D

 For the gradient I used three China Glaze polishes. First mate, spontaneous and Rich & famous. But you can do it with whatever blue, purple and pink you have on hand. 

Para el gradiente use tres esmates de China Glaze. First mate, Spontaneous y Rich & famous. Pero lo pueden hacer con cualesquiera azul, morado y rosa que tengan a la mano. 

For stamping, I used a perfect black holo, Beyond by Color Club. I wonder what it would have looked like if I had stamped with Harp on it instead (silver holo) but I conceived the idea this way. 

Para estampar, use un holo negro perfecto, Beyond de color Club. Me pregunto como se vería si hubiera estampado con Harp on it (holo plata) pero concebí la idea de esta manera.

The plate for the fish scales was Mash-39, and it was a gift from my sweet Mari from Nailista y co.

La paquita para las escamas fue Mash-39 y fue un regalo de mi querida Mari de Nailista y co.

Under the mistletoe

Hi! How was your Christmas day! I hope it was awesome! What have you been up to? I've been lazy, recovering from two nail breaks lol, and watching Prison Break, its the first time ever I watch that show and its got me really hooked up! Just started season 2, I'm very pleased so far but I heard the end of the show was awful. I guess I'll have to watch! Anyways, This is a quickie post to show the design I wore the past few days, Mistletoe!

Hola!! Como estuvo su dia de Navidad? Espero que increíble! Que han estado haciendo? Yo, he sido una floja, recuperandome de dos uñas rotas jaja, y viendo Prison break, es la primera vez que veo esa serie y me tiene bastante enganchada! Apenas empecé la segunda temporada, me ha gustado mucho hasta ahora pero escuché que el final de la serie es horrible. Creo que tendre que verlo por mi misma! Pero bueno, este es un post rapidito para mostrarles el diseño que usé estos últimos días, Muérdago!

Thermal nail polish / Esmalte termal BPS

Hello hello! Today's review involves something that I had been wanting to try for a very long time: a thermal polish! This one is from Born Pretty Store.  

Hola hola! El review de hoy tiene que ver con algo que hace mucho ya que quería probar: un esmalte termal! Este es de Born Pretty Store. 

This is a green to yellow nail polish! When cold, it is green and when warm, yellow. The color transition is awesome to watch and it changes during the day depending on your body temperature. 

Este es un esmalte que va de verde a amarillo (o viceversa). Cuando esta frio, es verde, y cuando esta caliente o tibio, es amarillo. La transición es agradable de ver, a mi me tenía embobada! Cambia durante el dia dependiendo también de la temperatura corporal.

 This is warm- but with some cold drops.
Este es tibio, pero con algunas gotas frias. 

Here you can see it totally cold except for the thumb. 
Aquí lo pueden ver totalmente frío a excepción del pulgar.

On the next pic you get to see more of the transition.
En la siguiente foto se aprecia mas la transición. 

Cool huh? Last pic shows its normal state (on my nails at least).
 Interesante no? La última foto muestra su estado normal (al menos en mis uñas).

Candace: Black, gold, holo gold and red glitters in a slightlt tinted base. One of my personal faves and the application is so smooth!

Candace: Glitter negro, oro, oro holo, y rojo, en una base ligeramente tintada de negro. Uno de mis favoritos y la aplicación es super pareja!

Of course i had to do a blackxgold design. Including some chain to give it a badass look.

Claro que tenía que hacer un diseño negroxoro. Incluí un poco de cadena para darle un aspecto rudo.

Erica: Amazing green glitter polish. I used it as a base and sponged CG's Atlantis on the tips for a gradient effect. Love!

Erica: Precioso esmalte de glitter verde. Lo usé como base y luego apliqué Atlantis de CG con una esponja en las puntas para un efecto de gradiente!

Karen: Fun multicolored combo where purple stands out a lot!

Katie: Green, brown glitters, some of them red? I can't even begin to explain it! What I can say is that this polish (and this combo) is super cool for fall. Looks amazing!

Katie: Glitter verde, café.. rojo? Ni siquiera puedo explicarlo! Pero si puedo decir que este esmalte (y esta combinación) son excelentes para el otoño. Se ve increíble!

 

Leslie: A variety of purple, blue and red glitters on a clear base. Lovely!

 Vanessa: Silver, black, red glitters on a slightly tinted grey base. This, my friends, is pure love.

Vanessa: Glitter plata, rojo y negro en una base ligeramente tintada gris. Este, mis amigos, es puro amor. 

 I first did this design and though I loved it already I decided it needed a proper swatch (yes, it is THAT beautiful). So I put one coat of black and ONE (yes ONE) coat of Vanessa and.. yeah!

Primero hice este diseño y aunque me encantó decidí que necesitaba un swatch propiamente (si, es ASI de hermoso). Así que puse una capa de negro y UNA (si UNA) capa de Vanessa y.. yeah!

Shimmer Polish!

 Hi Lovelies!
After stressful weeks of college, im out and I'm ready to post post post. Today Im gonna show you the amazingness of Shimmer polish! Wohooo! First indie brand to be on the nail sensation. Indie means that there's someone out there hand mixing every single ingredient of the nail polish.
I have 5 shades to show you today and 8 more that I'll be showing you throughout the week. These polishes are glitter, glitter and glitter! They sparkle like crazy. I feel so fancy when I'm wearing them! 2 or 3 coats are anough for full coverage. The dry smooth but Its ok to add a top coat, I feel that brings all the shimmer to life. They have not only one color of glitter but If you look closely they have tiny bits of other colors. I took macro shots of them and I'm amazed to see all the contents! Después de semanas de estrés en la escuela, estoy fuera y listísima para postear postear postear. Hoy les voy a enseñar lo maravilloso de estos esmaltes Shimmer Polish! Es la primera marca indie en the nail sensation, wohoo! Indie significa que hay alguien allá afuera mezclando a mano todos los ingredientes de los esmaltes.
Tengo ahorita 5 tonos que les enseñaré y 8 más que estare mostrando en la semana. Estos esmaltes son glitter, glitter y glitter! Brillan como locos. Me siento muy elegante cuando los uso jaja!
Dos o tres capas bastan para una cobertura completa. Secan parejitos pero esta bien añadir un poco de top coat, siento que eso trae todo el shimmer a la vida. Estos no tienen solo un color de glitter, si miran de cerca verán que tienen toquecitos de otros colores. Tome macros de estos y estoy encantada de ver todo lo que tienen!
