Thermal nail polish / Esmalte termal BPS

Hello hello! Today's review involves something that I had been wanting to try for a very long time: a thermal polish! This one is from Born Pretty Store.  

Hola hola! El review de hoy tiene que ver con algo que hace mucho ya que quería probar: un esmalte termal! Este es de Born Pretty Store. 

This is a green to yellow nail polish! When cold, it is green and when warm, yellow. The color transition is awesome to watch and it changes during the day depending on your body temperature. 

Este es un esmalte que va de verde a amarillo (o viceversa). Cuando esta frio, es verde, y cuando esta caliente o tibio, es amarillo. La transición es agradable de ver, a mi me tenía embobada! Cambia durante el dia dependiendo también de la temperatura corporal.

 This is warm- but with some cold drops.
Este es tibio, pero con algunas gotas frias. 

Here you can see it totally cold except for the thumb. 
Aquí lo pueden ver totalmente frío a excepción del pulgar.

On the next pic you get to see more of the transition.
En la siguiente foto se aprecia mas la transición. 

Cool huh? Last pic shows its normal state (on my nails at least).
 Interesante no? La última foto muestra su estado normal (al menos en mis uñas).

Swatch & review - Nicole by OPI: Follow me on glitter

Hello everyone! 

Today I have a swatch/review of this beauty for you: Nicole by OPI's Follow me on glitter. This was a part of the Kardashian Kolors Holiday Collection 2011; that's a year ago. This is an oldie but goodie. 

Follow me on glitter is a grey base fully packed with silver micro glitter and small multi-color round glitter. Full opacity can be achieved in two coats. Application is quite easy for being so full with glitter. It does dry a little bumpy but nothing that cant be fixed with a top coat. Its a stunning, almost metallic color. The multicolor glitter makes it unique. I dont have anything like it on my stash. But let's see some pics:

Hoy les tengo un swatch / review de esta belleza: Follow me on glitter de Nicole by OPI. Este fue parte de la colección de navidad Kardashian Kolors del 2011; osea hace un año. Es 'viejito' pero es muy, muy bonito.

Follow me on glitter es una base gris cargadísima de micro glitter plateado con pequeños glitters redondos multicolor. Opaco en 2 capas. La aplicación es bastante sencilla para estar lleno de glitter. Al secar, la superficie queda ligeramente irregular, nada que una top coat no arregle. Es un tono bellísimo, casi metálico. El glitter multicolor lo hace único. No tengo nada semejante en mi colección. Pero veamos algunas fotos:

First post: Rainbow gradient

Well, i've finally started with this blogging thing. I'll probably be swatching polishes, posting tutorials and doing some nail art so that's what you'll see in here! Hope you like it.
This is my starter manicure, a very beautiful rainbow gradient. For this mani I used 'For Audrey', / China Glaze, 'Neon Yellow' / Klean Color, 'All kendall-ed up'/Nicole by OPI (kardashian kolors', topped with 'Fairy dust'/China Glaze and 'Rapidry Top Coat'/OPI.


Por fin me decidí a empezar a ser blogger. Probablemente mostrare mi coleccion de esmaltes, pondré pictoriales y nail art así que eso es lo que verán aqui! Espero que sea de su agrado.
Comienzo el blog con este diseño, un gradiente de arcoiris muy bonito. Usé For Audrey de China Glaze, Neon Yellow de Klean Color, All Kendalled up de Nicole by OPI (parte de los Kardashian Kolors), todo con una capa de Fairy Dust de China Glaze y sellado con Rapidry Top Coat de OPI.

China Glaze is a 3-free brand (toluene, formaldehyde & DBP), with a great brush, awesome application, great formula, and some of these polishes are one-coaters. Even their neons are easy to apply.
 





China Glaze es una marca 3-Free (libre de tolueno, formaldehido y DBP) con una brocha muy agradable, de facil aplicación, formula agradable e incluso algunos tonos quedan suficientemente opacos en una capa, hasta los neones son relativamente faciles de aplicar.

OPI is my other favorite brand. They are 3-free since 2008 i believe, you can identify that in the label, if the words are printed in green then it's a safe formula. OPI has the best glitters, the best polish names and lots and lots of beautiful shades. Also the pro-wide brush is awesome! The exact size of my nail bed lol.



OPI es mi otra marca favorita. Son 3-Free desde el 2008 me parece, esto puede corroborarse en las etiquetas: si las palabras estan impresas en verde, la formula es segura. OPI tiene los mejores esmaltes de Glitter, los mejores nombres y muchos tonos hermosos. Además la prowide brush es increible, el tamaño exacto de mi uña :).

About Klean Color... well, i'm not sure about it. They're not a 3free brand, so these polishes have a particular smell that might be a little annoying for some. The brush is not that good either. I usually buy them if im in the need of some particular shade, or if i need to do some glitter placements, otherwise i tend to avoid it.


Acerca de Klean Color.. pues no me gustan mucho, no son 3-Free así que tienen un aroma muy particular que desagrada a muchos, la brocha tampoco es muy buena, tiene algunas cerdas sueltas. Normalmente los compro cuando estoy buscando algun color en particular y lo tienen, o si quiero un esmalte con glitter, pero si no evito comprarlos.

So I sponged the colors with a makeup sponge, and topped it with 'Fairy Dust', a clear base with holographic micro glitter, so gorgeous! If you'd like a pictorial, let me know.
Also, if you want a swatch just ask it and if i have the polish i'll do it right away. Otherwise youll have to wait a little bit while i go and buy it, lol.

Apliqué el esmalte con una esponja y le puse una capa de Fairy Dust, una base transparente con micro glitter holográfico, muy bonito! 
Si quieres un pictorial, ponme un comentario. Si quieres que tome algunas fotos de un esmalte en particular, solo dime y si lo tengo, lo hare en el momento. De otro modo tendras que esperarme un poco en lo que voy a comprarlo jaja :)
