Different Dimension Spooky Spooky Collection (Halloween 2014)

 Hello everyone! Today's post is a quick review of Different Dimension's Halloween collection: Spooky Spooky. Overall I loved the quality of these polishes. This is the first time I try them and I was really pleased. The brush is amazing, you barely need clean up. Formulas are great too, most of them are opaque in 2 coats. For the glitter topper, the glitter payoff is really nice and there is no need for fishing the glitters. Lets move on to the swatches now!

Hola!! El post de hoy es un review rápido de la colección de Halloween de Different Dimension, Spooky spooky. En general, me encantó la calidad de estos esmaltes. Es la primera vez que los pruebo y la verdad me convencieron mucho. La brocha es genial, casi no se necesita clean up. Las formulas también son muy buenas, la mayoría quedan opacos en 2 capas. Para el glitter, la cantidad que se obtiene con una pasada es muy buena y no hay necesidad de pescar los glitters. Ahora veamos los swatches! 

Dragula: a lightly tinted orange base filled with black, orange and holographic glitters. This was 2/3 coats. Dries a little bit textured. // base tintada naranja, llena de glitter negro, naranja y holográfico. Esto son 2/3 capas. Seca con un poco de textura. 

Thriller: This was the hardest to capture, but one of the prettiest and most intricate polishes ever. Its a nice blurple jelly with orange/copper shimmer. Opaque in 3 coats. // Este fue muy difícil de capturar, pero es uno de los esmaltes mas bonitos y complejos que he visto. Es un jelly morado/azul con shimmer naranja/cobre.Opaco en 3 capas.

Ghostbusters: A creamy orange/coral filled with iridescent glitters,  I see myself wearing this one all year long! Opacity built in 2 coats. // Naranja/coral cremoso con glitter iridiscente. Me veo usando este tono todo el año! Para esta opacidad puse 2 capas. 

Monsters mash: The perfect halloween glitter topper! It contains orange, red and black glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes (including stars and triangles) and holo dust on a clear base. This was one coat over Spontaneous by China Glaze. // El glitter perfecto para Halloween! Diferentes tamaños y formas de glitters blanco, negro y naranja y shimmer holográfico en una base transparente. Esto es una capa sobre Spontaneous de China Glaze. 
 

Werewolves of London: My favorite! To me, this is the perfect pumpkin-colored holo. Its amazing! Opaque in 2 coats. // Mi favorito! Para mi, es el color calabaza perfecto, y es holográfico! Es increíble!

China Glaze Apocalypse of color (Halloween 2014)

Hola hola! ¿Cómo están? Espero que muy muy bien. Para este post les quiero contar que una de las colecciones que más me interesó cuando vi el press release fue Apocalypse of Color de China Glaze, la colección de Halloween para este año. Debo decir que CG es una de mis marcas favoritas, por sus colecciónes tan originales y únicas, y esta no es la excepción. Todos tienen excelente fórmula y cobertura, y en mi opinión son must-haves!  También los nombres son maravillosos, me encantaron! Chequen los swatches y cuéntenme que piensan!

 Hello everyone! One of the collections that interested me the most when I saw the press release was Apocalypse of Color by China Glaze for this year's halloween. I must say, CG is one of my absolute favorite brands, because of their original and one-of-a-kind collections, and this one was no exception! All of these have amazing formula and great coverage, and they're must-haves in my opinion! Also, the names are just hilarious! Check out the swatches and let me know what do you think!

But of corpse: Verde olivo texturizado, con glitter negro pequeño y shimmer dorado. Opaco en 2 capas. //  A textured olive green with black glitter and gold shimmer, opaque in 2 coats.

Getting to gnaw you: Base jelly negra con glitter cafe/cobre, opaco en 2 capas, mostrado con top coat para emparejar la superficie. //  Black jelly base filled with brown/copper glitter, opaque in 2 coats, shown with top coat to smooth it out.

I love your guts:  Rosa texturizado con glitter negro y shimmer plateado, es como la hermana de But of corpse jaja, opaco en dos capas. // Textured pink with black glitter and silver shimmer, it's like the sister of But of corpse hehe, opaque in 2 coats

Don't let the dead bite: My personal favorite, a soft pink jelly base with a variety of shapes and sizes of red glitter. Fantastic and opaque in 2 coats, shown with top coat to smooth it out. I love it! / Mi favorito, base rosa bebé con una variedad de tamaños y formas de glitter rojo. Fantástico y opáco en 2 capas, mostrado con top coat para emparejarlo. Lo amo!

Rest in pieces: Glitter holográfico dorado/cobre/negro en una variedad de formas y tamaños, mostrado una capa sobre Appletini de Covergirl con top coat. Este me sorprendió mucho, no me gustó tanto cuando lo vi en la botella pero una vez aplicado me gusto mucho! // A glitter topper containing gold/copper/black holographic glitter in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, shown one coat over Appletini by Covergirl plus top coat. This one was a surprise for me, I didnt like it that much when I saw the bottle but once applied I really really liked it!

Another Halloween design / Otro diseño de Halloween

I like abstracts, theyre kinda my thing. I wanted something for Halloween that had the classic combo (orange & purple) and it had this 'magical' look. So I came up with this!

Me gustan los diseños abstractos, son como que lo mio. Queria algo para Halloween que tuviera la combinación clásica (naranja y morado) y que tuviera un look 'mágico'. Asi que se me ocurrió esto!

Its actually a very simple mani just with two polishes and glitter stars. But I really liked it and i thought it was cute :).

Es en realidad un diseño muy sencillo, solo usé dos esmaltes y glitter de estrellas. Pero me gustó mucho y pensé que estaba lindo :).

NOTD: Crime scene nails / Uñas de escena del crimen

Last post I was using Chanel's Diabolo over China Glaze's Liquid Leather. I was on the mood of doing something cool for Halloween and this idea came across my mind. I wish I had better skills so I would have done this properly. The top coat made it look bubbly but I loved that cause it makes the blood look even cooler. So here are the pics!

En el post pasado use Diabolo de Chanel sobre Liquid Leather de China Glaze. Estaba en el mood de algo Halloweenesco y esta idea me vino a la mente. Ojalá tuviera mas habilidad para haber hecho este diseño mejor. El top coat lo hizo quedar con burbujas, pero me gustó, hace ver la sangre aún mejor! Aquí las fotos!
