La vita e Bella + BPS BP-003 stamping plate

A few weeks ago I received some water decals from La Vita è Bella, famous for their awesome vintage cool designs. I decided to use these swimmers in a fun pool inspired mani.

Hace unas semanas recibí algunas water decals de La Vita è Bella, famosos por sus diseños vintage tan lindos. Decidí usar estas nadadoras en un mani inspirado en albercas. 

I did the background with reverse stamping and one of my new favorite stamping plates, BP-L003 from Born Pretty Store. These plates are so cute, they have a lot of designs and they're the same size as the Moyou stamping plates. You can use discount code MTL91 at www.bornprettystore.com :) Get it here.

I used lots and lots and lots of different  blue nail polishes and blue stamping tint from Mundo de uñas. 

Hice el fondo con reverse stamping y una de mis nuevas placas favoritas, BP-L003 de Born Pretty Store. Estas placas están súper lindas, tienen un montón de diseños y son del mismo tamaño que las Moyou. Pueden usar el código de descuento MTL91 en www.bornprettystore.com :) La encuentran aquí.

Para el relleno use miles y miles de esmaltes azules y tinta de estampado azul de Mundo de uñas. 

Once my background was ready, I placed the water decals by La vita e Bella, I cut them close to the image, and once they were ready I placed them on my nails, applying them was a breeze. Then I did one coat of my fave, Fast Forward Top Coat by China Glaze ;). 

Ya que tuve el fondo listo, puse las Water Decals de La Vita e bella; las recorté cerquita de la imagen, las puse en agua y las separé del papelito. Aplicarlas no me dió ningun problema, quedaron lisas y sin burbujas. Termine con una capa de mi top coat favorita, Fast Forward Top Coat de China Glaze ;).

The Zodiac Collection by Scratch [VIRGO] nail wraps

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you a set of nail wraps by SCRATCH. These are the Virgo wraps and they're part of The Zodiac Collection released this year. The collection has 12 different sets, one for each zodiac sign. 

Hola!! Hoy les quiero mostrar un set de nail wraps de SCRATCH. Estas son las Virgo y forman parte de The Zodiac Collection, una colección que salió este año, que cuenta con 12 sets diferentes, uno por cada signo zodiacal. 

Each set contains 16 wraps and a midi ring with the symbol of the zodiac sign, all of it in a very nice elegant packaging. (Gotta love pretty packaging). 

Cada set contiene 16 wraps y un midi ring con el símbolo zodiacal correspondiente, todo en un empaque bastante bonito y elegante (me encantan los empaques bonitos).

As for the wraps, the design is very very pretty! I love the transparencies and the whole color scheme of it! I guess the size of the wraps would be great for anyone with normal-sized nails (lol), but I have tiny nails as I have said before, so some of them didn't fit too well, however I managed to make them fit and I customized them a little bit as you can see on my ring fingernail. 

En cuanto a las wraps, el diseño es muy muy bonito! Me encantan las transparencias y todo el esquema de color! Supongo que los tamaños están bien para gente que tenga uñas de tamaño normal, jaja, pero como les he contado antes, tengo uñas pequeñitas y algunas no me quedaban tan bien, sin embargo me las ingenie para acomodarlas e incluso las personalicé un poquito como podrán ver en mi anular.

The wear time of these is very nice, too. I wore them for about a week, and they were still strong, just a little bit of growth showin but nothing more. Overall I'm very pleased with the Virgo nail wraps by SCRATCH. Visit their website and check out the other 11 designs.

El tiempo que duran es también bastante bueno. Las usé por mas o menos una semana, y todavía estaban muy bien, un poco de crecimiento asomándose pero nada más. En general estoy bastante complacida con las wraps Virgo de SCRATCH. Dense una vuelta por el sitio web y chequen los otros 11 diseños :).

Hello there! Finally here's the review of the Rorschach nail wraps I showed you a few weeks ago on my Instagram account! I first saw this set at @thumbsupnails on Instagram, and it was love at first sight! I don't know why these patterns are so intriguing, but they are!

Hola hola! Por fin aquí esta el review de las wraps Rorschach que les enseñe hace un par de semanas en mi cuenta de Instagram! Primero las vi en @thumbsupnails en IG, y fue amor a primera vista; no se porque estos patrones son tan intrigantes, pero lo son!

First of all, I wanna say thanks to ThumbsUp in the name of all of us tiny-fingered people (?) for giving us 10 different sizes of nail wraps! I usually have to adjust them a little by cutting the edges but it was not necessary as I was able to find one perfect fit for each of my nails. I compared them against some other wraps I had on hand so you can check it out:

Primero que nada, quiero agradecer a ThumbsUp en nombre de todos nosotros con deditos pequeñitos jajaja, por darnos 10 tamaños diferentes de estampitas! Normalmente tengo que ajustarlas un poco cortando los bordes, pero no fue necesario pues pude encontrar una que ajustara perfecto a cada una de mis uñas. Las comparé contra otras estampitas que tenía por ahi para que puedan darse una idea:

Applying these was super easy, I used a file and an orange stick and in less than 5 minutes all my nails were perfect. I actually was able to fit two nails per wrap, so I still have for another full manicure :)

Ponerlas fue super fácil. Usé una lima y un palito de naranjo y en menos de 5 minutos todas mis uñitas estaban perfectas. De hecho, pude cubrir dos uñas por estampa, asi que todavía tengo para un mani completo :)
 

I loved these wraps so much that I left them on for over a week! Can you imagine? I never do that, but I was so happy with them! If you look closely you'll see some growth, because I took these pics some days after applying them, and that was the only reason why I removed them (the growth) because after more than a week they were perfect.

Me gustaron tanto estas wraps que las dejé por mas de una semana! Se imaginan? Nunca hago eso, pero estaba tan feliz con ellas! Si ven de cerca, verán un poco de crecimiento, porque tomé estas fotos después de varios dias de ponermelas, y eso (el crecimiento) fue el unico motivo por el que me las quité, pues después de mas de una semana seguían perfectas.
  

Overall I'm really pleased with ThumbsUp nail wraps; not only the quality is great but they're also affordable. I'll be trying some more ThumbsUp nail wraps in the next few weeks and I'll let you know how that goes but meanwhile go get yourself some!

Nailed Kit: Citrus decals

Hello hello how are youuu? Fiiine I hope! I took a little break from the blog (a totes necessary break due to tests -.-) buuut I'm here now -yeeey!- because I have to show you something oh-so-cute! Are you ready to know what it is? wait for it.. wait.. Water decals from Nailed Kit!
This post is all about the 'Citrus' design that comes in the  June monthly club (two new sets of water decals for just 10 dlls, saving 6 USD).

 Hola hola cómo estan? Espero que muuuuuy bien! Ya me había tomado suficientes dias de descanso (descanso, ja! Dias para estudiar y hacer examenes, que!) peeeero ya tenía que volver porque tenia algo chulísimo, chu-líiiii-si-mo que tenía que enseñarles: Unas water decals [estampas de agua(?)] de la marca Nailed Kit. Se trata del diseño Citrus que se incluye en la suscripción mensual de Junio de Nailed kit (dos sets de water decals por solo 10 dólares, ahorrando 6 USD).

I came up with this design using 3 of the 4 diferent images that come on the sheet (the other ones are tiny lemon slices, don't worry, i'll use those too!). I put the lemon, the oranges and the stripes over French White by Nina, and I added some neon studs from Born Pretty Store on my index, then my usual Fast forward top coat by China Glaze and that whas it!

Se me ocurrió este diseño con 3 de las 4 diferentes imagenes que vienen en la hojita (las otras son mini rodajitas de limón, no se preocupen, las usaré luego también!). Puse el limón, las naranjitas y las lineas sobre French White de Nina, y añadí unos studs neón de Born Pretty Store en mi índice, todo bien selladito con mi ya usual Fast Forward top coat de China Glaze.

As you can see I had no problem with the application, these are applied just as any other water decals, the only detail is that you must cut as close to the design as possible, because the images are not pre-cut. However this does not represent any issue because once the design is on its place, what is left comes off super fast with acetone. Then with the top coat, the decals are well sealed and the manicure will last for days! I had the chance to check myself ;).  I really liked these decals for summer, so fresh and cute!

Como pueden ver no hay ningún problema con la aplicación de las estampas, se aplican igual que cualquier set de water decals, el unico detalle es que tienen que cortar lo más cerca del diseño posible, ya que no viene precortado y les va a sobrar mucho plastiquito. De todas formas no hay problema ya que una vez fijo el diseño, el resto se va facilísimo con acetona. Después al poner top coat quedan bien sujetas las estampas y duran muchísimo, este diseño si lo traje varios días y me duró super bien! Me gustaron mucho estas estampitas para el verano, para hacer manis frescos y bonitos.
