A few weeks ago I received some water decals from La Vita è Bella, famous for their awesome vintage cool designs. I decided to use these swimmers in a fun pool inspired mani.

Hace unas semanas recibí algunas water decals de La Vita è Bella, famosos por sus diseños vintage tan lindos. Decidí usar estas nadadoras en un mani inspirado en albercas. 

I did the background with reverse stamping and one of my new favorite stamping plates, BP-L003 from Born Pretty Store. These plates are so cute, they have a lot of designs and they're the same size as the Moyou stamping plates. You can use discount code MTL91 at www.bornprettystore.com :) Get it here.

I used lots and lots and lots of different  blue nail polishes and blue stamping tint from Mundo de uñas. 

Hice el fondo con reverse stamping y una de mis nuevas placas favoritas, BP-L003 de Born Pretty Store. Estas placas están súper lindas, tienen un montón de diseños y son del mismo tamaño que las Moyou. Pueden usar el código de descuento MTL91 en www.bornprettystore.com :) La encuentran aquí.

Para el relleno use miles y miles de esmaltes azules y tinta de estampado azul de Mundo de uñas. 

Once my background was ready, I placed the water decals by La vita e Bella, I cut them close to the image, and once they were ready I placed them on my nails, applying them was a breeze. Then I did one coat of my fave, Fast Forward Top Coat by China Glaze ;). 

Ya que tuve el fondo listo, puse las Water Decals de La Vita e bella; las recorté cerquita de la imagen, las puse en agua y las separé del papelito. Aplicarlas no me dió ningun problema, quedaron lisas y sin burbujas. Termine con una capa de mi top coat favorita, Fast Forward Top Coat de China Glaze ;).

 Hello girls, good morning/afternoon/night! I have another quick post for a Born Pretty Store product! The other day I had naked nails (oops) and I didnt have much time and I remembered I had these poppy water decals, so I decided to use them and I was very satisfied with the result! It took less than 5 minutes, I added top coat and they lasted for a few days!

Nailed kit: Prepster decals

I used absolutely all of the designs for this mani, the set cointains chevrons, anchors and boats in blue and red, and the cutest blue whales e-ver!

Usé absolutamente todos los diseños para mi mani, el set contiene chevrons, anclas
 y botes en rojo y azul, y las ballenitas azules mas hermosas de la vida!

Instead of doing the classic red/blue/white combo, I went for lighter colors to highlight the decals. I used French White by Nina as the base for middle and ring, Sea Spray and Aquadelic by China Glaze for the stripes, then Sea Spray again for the base on my thumb, index and pinky, and Aquadelic for the whale to have some water -hehe. Top coat used was same as always, Fast Forward Top Coat by China Glaze.

En lugar de hacer la clásica combinación rojo/azul/blanco, opté por colores claros para destacar las estampas. Usé French white de Nina como la base para el dedo medio y anular, Sea Spray y Aquadelic de China Glaze para las lineas, luego Sea Spray para la base del pulgar, índice y meñique, y Aquadelic para hacerle aguita a la ballenita, jiji. Usé mi top coat de siempre, Fast Forward de China Glaze.

Nailed kit: Unicorn decals

Hi how are you? I'm here again, catching up with the blog posts, since the past 3 weeks have been horrible! Pure madness, i wasnt able to do much! But I'm preparing lots of new things I want to show to you! Today however the spotlight shines over another product from Nailed Kit, yes, the ones that made the gorggggeous Citrus decals I showed last time), now presenting a beautiful Unicorn!!
 
 Hola! Como están? Yo de nuevo aquí poniendome al día con los posts en el blog, que las últimas 3 semanas han sido de locura y no he podido hacer mucho D: pero estoy preparando muchas cosas nuevas que ya les quiero enseñar! Hoy sin embargo le toca el turno a otras water decals de Nailed kit (si, como las del post pasado, Citrus), esta vez presentando un hermoso unicornio!

As you can see the packaging is really nice, elegant and friendly, in the back it has the instructions for the decals. Each set contains 24 stamps, and as I told you before this are not precut so you must cut near the image, and theres absolutely any problem officer. 

Como pueden ver el empaque es realmente bonito, muy elegante y amigable, por el reverso vienen las instrucciones para aplicar las decals. Cada set viene con 24 decals y como les mencionaba antes no están precortadas asi que hay que cortar cerquita de la imagen, no hay ningún problema con la aplicación!

For the design I thought that as the decals were in pastel shades, there was no better nail polish to match them but Lullaby by Cirque <3. Every nail had as a base French White by Nina. For the thumb, index and pinky, I applied a little bit of Lullaby in a corner, a flower shaped stone that my boyfriend gave me in a wheel and a pearl from another wheel, these time from Born Pretty Store. In the middle one I put the unicorn and Lullaby around it, the same for the ring but with the stars and I sealed everything with Fast Forward Top Coat by China Glaze.

 Para el diseño se me ocurrió que como las estampas tenían colores pastel no había mejor esmalte para combinarlo que con Lullaby de Cirque <3. Todas las uñas llevan de base French White de Nina. Para el pulgar, índice y meñique, apliqué un poco de Lullaby en una esquina, una piedrita en forma de flor de una ruedita que me regaló mi novio y una perla de otra ruedita, esta de Born Pretty Store. En el medio puse el unicornio y alrededor Lullaby, lo mismo para el anular pero con las estrellas, y sellé todo con Fast Forward Top Coat de China Glaze.

Nailed Kit: Citrus decals

Hello hello how are youuu? Fiiine I hope! I took a little break from the blog (a totes necessary break due to tests -.-) buuut I'm here now -yeeey!- because I have to show you something oh-so-cute! Are you ready to know what it is? wait for it.. wait.. Water decals from Nailed Kit!
This post is all about the 'Citrus' design that comes in the  June monthly club (two new sets of water decals for just 10 dlls, saving 6 USD).

 Hola hola cómo estan? Espero que muuuuuy bien! Ya me había tomado suficientes dias de descanso (descanso, ja! Dias para estudiar y hacer examenes, que!) peeeero ya tenía que volver porque tenia algo chulísimo, chu-líiiii-si-mo que tenía que enseñarles: Unas water decals [estampas de agua(?)] de la marca Nailed Kit. Se trata del diseño Citrus que se incluye en la suscripción mensual de Junio de Nailed kit (dos sets de water decals por solo 10 dólares, ahorrando 6 USD).

I came up with this design using 3 of the 4 diferent images that come on the sheet (the other ones are tiny lemon slices, don't worry, i'll use those too!). I put the lemon, the oranges and the stripes over French White by Nina, and I added some neon studs from Born Pretty Store on my index, then my usual Fast forward top coat by China Glaze and that whas it!

Se me ocurrió este diseño con 3 de las 4 diferentes imagenes que vienen en la hojita (las otras son mini rodajitas de limón, no se preocupen, las usaré luego también!). Puse el limón, las naranjitas y las lineas sobre French White de Nina, y añadí unos studs neón de Born Pretty Store en mi índice, todo bien selladito con mi ya usual Fast Forward top coat de China Glaze.

As you can see I had no problem with the application, these are applied just as any other water decals, the only detail is that you must cut as close to the design as possible, because the images are not pre-cut. However this does not represent any issue because once the design is on its place, what is left comes off super fast with acetone. Then with the top coat, the decals are well sealed and the manicure will last for days! I had the chance to check myself ;).  I really liked these decals for summer, so fresh and cute!

Como pueden ver no hay ningún problema con la aplicación de las estampas, se aplican igual que cualquier set de water decals, el unico detalle es que tienen que cortar lo más cerca del diseño posible, ya que no viene precortado y les va a sobrar mucho plastiquito. De todas formas no hay problema ya que una vez fijo el diseño, el resto se va facilísimo con acetona. Después al poner top coat quedan bien sujetas las estampas y duran muchísimo, este diseño si lo traje varios días y me duró super bien! Me gustaron mucho estas estampitas para el verano, para hacer manis frescos y bonitos.

Rose water decals / Water decals de rosas Born Pretty Store

Hi! Today we have another review here at the nail sensation, from Born Pretty Store, this time is all about the cutest rose water decals! I usually paint roses with a small brush but I love how realistic these look! As I have told you before the water decals are activated with water, you must cut the piece that contains the decal you want and submerge it for a few seconds in water (similar to applying a temporary tattoo), then you place it over some base color of your choice and end with top coat! :)

Hola! Hoy en The nail sensation tenemos otro review de Born Pretty Store, esta vez de unas water decals de rosas! Yo suelo pintar las rosas con pincel pero me encanta lo realistas que se ven asi! Como ya les he contado antes las water decals se activan con agua, hay que cortar el pedacito que contenga la estampa que queramos y sumergirla unos segundos en agua (similar a aplicar un tatuaje temporal),  despues hay que colocarla sobre algun color base que queramos y terminar con top coat! :)

For this design I used the water decals over Don't pretzel my buttons by OPI, on my index I placed some rhinestones also from Born Pretty and you can read the review here, and for my thumb and pinky i used Dorothy by australian brand piCture pOlish (which I also showed here) ;)

Water decals. For those who dont know what I'm talking about, just keep reading.The application method is like those water tattoos? Exactly.You must cut a the piece of the water decal you want to use, remove the protective film and then submerge in water for 10 seconds. Then, you must take off the decal of the now wet paper and proceed to apply on your nails -you can help yourself with some tweezers. Add top coat and you're done! Thats what makes water decals so useful- You have a nice, clean, intricate mani within 5 minutes. On sighstar.com they have for every taste, too!

Water decals. Para los que no saben de qué estoy hablando, la traducción literal viene siendo como 'calcomanías de agua'.  La aplicación es como esos tatoos de agua? Exacto. Se debe cortar la pieza de water decal que se quiera usar de la planilla, remover el plástico protectos y luego sumergir en agua por 10 segundos. Después, Se debe retirar la calcomanía del papel y proceder a aplicar en las uñas- pueden usarse unas pinzas para que sea mas sencillo. Añadir top coat y listo! When I first received the decals, I couldnt take my eyes off these gorgeous white flowers. O.m.g. So pretty! I did a blue-purple background with the easiest technique ever and added some white studs. (Currently editing a vid on this mani and the technique). Buy these decals here.
